Solar has never been more affordable in Pakistan. Here are the real, up-to-date 2026 system prices.
As of 2026, a complete installed solar system in Pakistan costs roughly Rs 34–45 per watt. Individual panels (the common 545W–615W modules) sell for about Rs 24,000–35,000 each, depending on wattage, cell type (P-type vs N-type) and brand.
For a typical home, a 5 kW on-grid system costs around Rs 4.5–5.5 lakh, including panels, inverter, mounting structure, wiring and installation. A 5 kW hybrid system (with battery backup) runs about Rs 6.2–7.5 lakh.
Larger setups scale down per-watt: a 10 kW on-grid system is roughly Rs 7.5–9 lakh, while a 10 kW hybrid is about Rs 10–12 lakh.
Prices rose slightly in early 2026 (around Rs 3,000–5,000 per panel) due to higher global silver and copper costs, but with grid tariffs so high, payback still lands in just a few years.
